The '''[[The Party|Pirate Party of Belgium]]''' finds its roots in the international [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pirate_party pirate party movement].
Its main focus are ''direct democracy'', ''transparency'' and ''protection of civil rights''.


The party is organized as a ''distributed network'' and has no central power. Every decision has to be ratified by the [[General Assembly]].
