Solar Charger + USB Battery pack, has anybody tried them ?

For the battery of my librarybox, I was planning to use Solar Charger + USB battery patck like the ones you can find in Nature et Découverte or even at FNAC. This will allow to charge the battery even if there is no electric power source near. Has anybody tried them ? --ZeFredz (talk) 18:10, 1 June 2015 (CEST)

I didn't try this kind of battery, but it depends on what you plan to do with your piratebox. Unless you plan to use it outside (manifestations, etc.), a battery isn't really necessary : you just plug it somewhere in the room or on a laptop, and that's it. I recently found out that it even works with a laptop in standby !
