Trying to get this to be used for the development of the new website.
How to:
- Install pidgin : https://pidgin.im/
- Add your XMPP account or let it be created by pidgin.
- If you do not have an XMPP (=Jabber) account, You can find a service provider > https://xmpp.net/directory.php
- If you have a A RiseUp.net account, you already have a XMPP account :D (https://help.riseup.net/en/chat#using-riseups-jabber-service).
- Join a room (chat)
- Clic on Buddies > Join chat (for instance websitepp):
- Optional OTR plugin for encryption : https://otr.cypherpunks.ca/index.php#downloads
- Download and install the OTR plugin
- Activate it from Tools > Plugins first
