There is a possibility to receive a grant. The organizing committee of Mons 2015 wants to give te money only to a VZW/ASBL. Because the crew of La Louvière need the money to finance their workshops we want to create one. The VZW is only for the financial aspects. To make a VZW/ASBL for the Pirateparty would take to long so we decided on the last pirate lab to create a separate one. It is a project from some pirates to help other pirates. This does not mean that the creation of a VZW/ASBL for the Pirateparty is ended. It is a different project. Goals To adapt (not copy!!) the statutes of the VZW/ASBL The Black Pearl into a new VZW/ASBL which is: not to complex can be used for Mons 2015 is legally correct: info here http://www.belgium.be/fr/economie/entreprise/creation/types_de_societe/ASBL/ Time Line There are 8 phases: phase 1: starting the project and put the statutes of The Black Pearl on line on a piratepad to adapt phase 2: adapting the statutes (1 week) phase 3: making a draft of new statutes using the work of phase 2 (1 weekend) phase 4: discussing the draft (1 week ) phase 5: translating the result of fase 4 (1 week) phase 6: collecting names of who wants to be a board member, member, official founding member etc (could be at the same time as phase 5) phase 7: legalize the statutes in court or on-line phase 8: first board meeting When there is a change the collaborators of the task-force will be informed by e-mail.
