Date: 28/01/2017
Location: Expression Mechelen
Attendees: JF, Hadrien, Rupert, Ilja
Last time summary (january meeting):
- We agreed that the most important thing is the meetings.
- tell the bar that you have a meeting, so that people can find you
- Try to have recurrent meeting (always same date)
- communicate about the meeting on time
- put the time on the website (two weeks in advance if possible)
- communication of the agenda
- try to avoid last minutes changes!
Today summary meeting:
We asked ourself: What's a democratic decision ?
- A democratic decision should be in consensus. If you can't find a consensus on the question, you should find a consensus on the decision-process. (For example, if you can't find a consensus on the question, you can agree to postpone, discuss, organise meetings, not need a decision at all, vote... Make those kind of questions explicit!)
- Consensus means co-creativity and dialogue, avoid voting. This can take time, sometimes we cannot reach decision right away. A decision should be revisable and is therefore temporary.
- How should meetings be organised?
- We decided to talk about this in another meeting. 12/02/2017 in De 'Blauwe Schuit', Vismarkt in Leuven at 14h. The goal would be to have guidelines for meetings.
