Introduction

The crew that is currently meeting in Brussels isn't related to any specific Brussels area. All Brussels pirates are welcomed to participate in the meetings. Our encounters aim to spread the pirate philosophy, to encourage local actions and the creation of Brussels crews and squads. We hope that more "local" crews, i.e. specific per every Brussels area like Ixelles or Schaerbeek for example, will pop-up with time.

Meetings

Brussels crew organises weekly meetings, on a week day (currently Wednesday) in the evening or on a Sunday afternoon. We've got workmeetings and informal meetings (called pirate drinks) every other week. All meetings are announced on the mailing list, in the forum or even here.

If the meeting is a pirate party drink meeting, it is held at a café L'Ane Fou in Schaerbeek (address: Rue Royale Sainte-Marie 11 - 1030 Schaerbeek) or De Monk (adress: Sint-Katelijnestraat 42 - 1000 Brussel).

From time to time, the meetings take place in an another café, therefore, it is important to check the forums, mailinglist or here to know where it will be held.

Regular gatherings or meetings can be held at someone's house or a bar, so check with the forum, mailing list, here or if the person doesn't mind, on facebook at which address the meeting takes place.

Note: Brussels and language use. You can expect to hear and read a mix of French, English, and Dutch during our meeting. Currently the meetings are held in French/Dutch and wiki is available in English. Language use isn't fixed and can be adapted to suit any situation and/or individual.
