== Details == This meeting was part of the [[Pirate Lab/Meeting/28 01 2017|Pirate Lab January 2017]] and was organized as a workshop about our internal democracy. == Summary of the [[democracy/Meeting/07 01 2017|previous meeting]] == Here is a short summary of the previous meeting: * We agreed that the most important thing is the meeting. ** Tell the bar/pub that you will have a meeting there, so that people can find you ** Try to have recurrent meetings (always same date) ** Communicate about the meeting on time *** Put the time on the website (two weeks in advance if possible) *** Communicate the agenda *** Try to avoid last minutes changes! == Minutes == We asked ourself: What's a democratic decision ? * A democratic decision should be in consensus. If you can't find a consensus on the question, you should find a consensus on the decision-process. ** For example, if you can't find a consensus on the question, you can agree to postpone, discuss, organise meetings, not need a decision at all, vote... Make those kind of questions explicit! * Consensus means co-creativity and dialogue, avoid voting. This can take time, sometimes we cannot reach decision right away. A decision should be revisable and is therefore temporary. * How should meetings be organised? ** We decided to talk about this in [[internal Democracy/Meeting/12 02 2017|another meeting]], 12/02/2017 in De 'Blauwe Schuit', Vismarkt in Leuven at 14h.
