Pirate Lab January 2019

About this meeting

Meetings are open to everyone! You don't need to be a member to come here!
Pirate Labs can be seen as incubators for pirate projects. This is the perfect place for people to propose their ideas and to launch new projects.

If you have any ideas of projects, or want to help other projects, please do come!

We will use the meeting guidelines proposed by the internal democracy group. Please have a look at them before coming to the lab :)

Languages: English, français, nederlands

To-do list

  1. Define venue
  2. Confirm venue
  3. Create facebook event (then destroy facebook)

Preparation

Lab starts at 2 pm. For those who want to lunch together before the lab, they can coordinate on the following pad:

Reporting

Lab starts at 14:00

Roundtable

1st Round : Finances of PPBe

  • We all like the idea of HgO to go to the Conseil d'Etat. But it's costly, so he proposes that PPBe pays 700€ -> It would be a good idea to bring that to Loomio and ask if there are any objections. (newsletter)
    • HgO will start a loomio thread about that. Proceed by strong objection.
  • For elections: suggest 50/50 (1500 € things we want to do afterwards, 1500 € Flanders, 1500 € Wallonie) also on Loomio Permanent assembly (4500 € on the account)
    • Patrick would only need a proof: either an invoice or a consensus: e.g. on the Flemish side if Flanders decides that 50% of the money
    • HgO creates a loomio thread to explain what we propose (1500€ for each region, except Brussels which doesn't really exist anyway). Deadline to react is next Pirate Lab (23rd feb)

3rd Round : Newsletter

Loomio thread to be used : https://www.loomio.org/d/PF9IUdlM/newsletter

It should preferably be published before the 9-10th feb.

  • Boat crowdfunding + site piratenpartij.vlaanderen? (+ slogan Burgers aan de Macht? -> ask Antwerp)
  • Liège (à voir avec Crew Liège)
  • Demande de participation aux élections + article élections
  • Particratie (à titre personnel ou non)
  • Loomio -> + article State Council HgO in het Nederlands? (check Koen)
  • Finances for the elections : proposal (see Loomio thread that HgO will create)

4th Round : Elections

Européennes -> probably too hard

Next Lab

23/02 in Mechelen
