We have a Pirate Beer each 2nd and 4th Tuesday, currently in De Blauwe Schuit (Vismarkt 16). You're warmly welcomed on our next meeting!

Current Projects

• Mapping the public security cameras in Leuven: initial phase, investigating relevant laws and technology to use. OpenStreetMap seems the best option, an OSM user already proposed mapping CCTV's in Leuven: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Leuven#CCTV_mapping
• Press release 28 januari 2012 concerning the addition of 50 CCTV cameras (more info: link, link, link)

Faq

• Taalgebruik: Engels? -> neen, Nederlands of Engels, maakt niet uit. Engels = iets meer toegankelijker voor iedereen in Belgie, Nederlands = meest gebruikte taal in Leuven. Expect a mix of Dutch and English on this site, dutch will be used more often during the meetings IRL.
